Full Contact Performance: The Internal Art of Organizational Collaboration is now available in e-book format

It’s called ๐…๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐š๐œ๐ญ ๐๐ž๐ซ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž, and it’s about my approach to helping leaders transform their organization’s collaborative performance.

Dr. Marshall Goldsmith has written the Foreword, and the book has already received some incredible early endorsements.

I wrote the book in response to clients’ questions over the years asking me if there was a book about my approach. Now, there is.

Some of the themes I cover in the book include:

โ€ข Why smart leaders often fail to collaborate (and what to do about it)
โ€ข Managing your attention and your body to transform your collaborative performance
โ€ข Beyond Active Listening: A new take on an old topic
โ€ข How our emotions and stories shape our relationships and performance
โ€ข How great execution requires great promises (and the 6 questions that lead to great promises)
โ€ข How to design (and solve) better problems with your colleagues
โ€ข What to do when your colleagues are the problem

Here’s a little more about the book:

โ€œThrough personal insights and stories, this book brings to life the five principles and three types of conversations that enable us to make Full Contact with our colleagues. James shows that we ourselves are always where the real action is when it comes to collaborative performance. This is great news, because it means we each have the power to transform our collaborative performance, regardless of who it is weโ€™re working with…โ€

“This book is a gift to organizations, showing their employees how to achieve win-win-win solutions by being their better selves, being better collaborators and still helping the bottom line. James is a deep thinker with a sophisticated understanding of human nature. A masterpiece!

Russell Lemle, Former Chief Psychologist, San Francisco VA Health Care System
